Lisa James founded Lisa James Nutrition in January 2017 to build on her decades of experience in the health and wellness industry.   


Her son's diagnosis of a rare food allergy known as FPIES, or food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome, initially prompted her to specialize in pediatrics. 

She's trained in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Feeding Approach. An evidenced-based approach that aims to assess and treat children with feeding difficulties and weight/growth challenges. In the earlier part of her career she was an award-winning health journalist, and healthcare public relations executive.

Lisa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and a Masters in the Science of Clinical Nutrition from Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, New Jersey.                       


In her free time, I enjoy competing in triathlons, cooking and spending time with my son Keegan and husband Keith.
